On another note the sil is being rewired, apparently i have the worlds worst luck with work and am now looking for more for the third time this year.......recession and dickfaced bosses can suck lick my sack....so yet again everything stalls (beyond a joke now) and things i planned on doing in the future are now being done now cause....well i'm fucking bored and it shits me sitting there.

Relocated the engine fusebox+loom both sides to under the dash/behind glovebox - made a sexy plate that bolts to the pedal bolts (for US 240s) and headlights etc are being extended out while the rest is being shortened and plugged and will be accessible from the centre console if things every break etc and need sussing out.......slowly coming together and should look pretty good once its done (i hate janky built shit)

Heading to WTAC tomorrow, mega keen....and hopefully i'll find some luck on the way back through and get a job soon after i get back....crossed fingers, balls, toes, eyes and everything else

Sil has had zero done to it, might have a new home......then something that rhymes with purple dress might happen.......might.

Decided (well actually we've been talking about it forever) an 'at home project' was needed.....since my driveway is the fucking himalayas and RUNNING cars have trouble getting up it.....whats wrong with digging the hill out before you build a house......or dig a tunnel with those cool 'kids handyman/boy/lad' kits you get in showbags from the bloke with the chewbacca hands. Then bury some explosive shit and hide behind the letterbox......everybody has fun and future moans and get f'ds are avoided due to the ctrl+alt+del on mentioned ridiculous mountainous driveway.

^^^ this above shit takes 5 minutes in Minecraft with loud music distorting your thinking patterns and not even gunpowder to make tnt, so i say again....how hard could it be?.

So short story long, Joe hooked me up with one of his old bmx (he has a muesum of them) needs a seat, chain, grips and new tyres then i'm going to practice acid drops off peoples roofs, out of trees and possibly a backflip onto a moving city cat or driftwood.

So after what seemed like 1000 emails and phone calls back and forth of the last few months things have finally reached a conclusion. Turns out the sil has been complianced for some 8 or so years now but its plates and accompanying paperwork either never found their way onto and into the car or went missing some time in that 8 years.

Anywho......it means compliance isn't an issue now which is kinda rad so it means that the order is more or less - bay spray, engine drop, engine wire in, other random shit, rego, enjoy......or something to that effect.

Nothing else much has happened....had to make a bracket up for the handbrake cause i run r33 gear in the rear....was a real a hole but fixed now and got a job so hopefully things keep slowly grinding forward.

Got some work done today, hoping for much of the same tomorrow and maybe wednesday, then work the following two days.......cause i just love making pocket change at times convenient for everyone but myself....hoping for some good news this week or next in that regards.

Anywho

Bay is stripped, wiring is (more or less) finished - couple plugs will have it done and dusted and cooler has been dummied up, was hoping running a 450 core would mean i could just sneak pipes in either side without having to cut but alas it was not to be....at any rate it will look super neat and i highly doubt our lovely law enforcement will even bat an eyelid........especially with yamaha and toyota written on the top of the motor :P

Last pics show where the loom used to come through and where it will be coming through after everything is back together. Real estate is a little tight up top on the drivers side since i'm running the factory CT12 twins but the loom will duck down far enough where heat won't be an issue.

Bay spray is now on the cards, still haven't heard whether the 'other' things are a go or not.....not much can be done without steady dollars though.

things started to slowly crunch along again..now after 4 weeks of work thinking things had started to come back around i'm back again without work due to another bunch putting too many eggs into the one basket and not having enough work organised afterwards to sustain its workforce..........surprises me how we didn't fall into a recession and never returned like boba fett into the sarlac.

Anyways waiting to hear back about compliance......still. Given that everything else has been organised (1J wiring in, paint etc) and the one thing holding up the whole show is compliance i'm starting to wonder how the fuck anyone got the first s13 through importation all those years ago....because with it being this difficult now i would've necked myself back in the early 2000s.

So onto the list - battery relocate is done, couple lugs crimped on and in theory the electric side of things should all work, dash is out ready to go away for restoring/flocking when coin comes in again, entire front and rear end has been changed over for 5 stud along with driftworks polyurethane rear subframe bushes and my old kei office coilovers and interior has been changed over. All that is left is reconnecting brake, fuel and handbrake, fuel tank amd a set of shit wheels with good tyres to roll on and off trailers, in and out of paint, compliance, motor wiring and all that other fun stuff.

Doubt i'll update again until i have word on compliance and the bay has been resprayed
